Is it possible to make a circle on Minecraft?
Yes, and no. Do I sound crazy? Well, technically, no, you can not make a perfect circle in Minecraft. But yes, you can create a jagged shape that looks much like a sphere. The trick is to cheat your brain into believing it as a perfect circle.

Since Minecraft world is made up of small squares or as you may call them pixels, building spheres require certain techniques. Lucky for you, I have mentioned some of these right here.
- The best way to get a “near-perfect” circle is what they call a decrease by one method. Where it is the best way, it is also the slowest, taking much of your time. But, better slow than never. Right?
- To start with the center, make a 5*5 square using single blocks. As the name suggests, remove one block from all the four edges of the square.
- Then, place single blocks along the outline of the center square. Keep adding blocks to the growing square until you get a blocky edged round shape. The scheme is to make a large circle to make it look smoother. A circle built by this method looks quite like this.
- Another option is to use the command block trick in Minecraft. Command blocks are Redstone components that carry out commands. Using codes and commands can be complicated if you’re a beginner (like me) and also causes lag to your game. However, these can help you transform your Minecraft world in ways you can not even imagine. Coders love and often use this technique to decorate their game.
- A more quick and easy way is the use of online tools. You can find a few tools on the internet that will help you generate a circle according to your required radius. One tool I find pretty useful is a Minecraft circle generator. It lets you enter the dimensions of your choice and create a circle that you can use to build one in your own world.
